Mistake 1: You don’t trim your hair regularly

To maintain the health of the hair, you should trim your hair at least once in 6 weeks. The trimming is useful to eliminate damaged parts of the hair. Actually, the damaged hair can still be treated, but it takes a long time to recover it. So, to give adequate nutrition to all part of the hair, you better trim the damaged hair regularly.

Mistake 2: You don’t use daily / clarifying shampoo

If you like to wash your hair every day, you should use a daily / clarifying shampoo. The formula of this shampoo is much gentler than regular shampoo, so it won’t damage your hair and the hair moisture is still maintained.

Mistake 3: You don’t rinse your hair cleanly

If you don’t rinse your hair cleanly, the shampoo that’s left can damage the hair. The chemical that’s left on your hair will dry up and leave the dirty residue and it can affect your hair condition.

Mistake 4: You rub your hair harshly

Oftentimes after shampooing, you will dry your hair by rubbing it with a towel. Rubbing your hair with a towel can cause scratches and injuries to the hair shaft. To prevent damage to your hair, it’s better if you pat or wrap your hair gently.

Mistake 5: You don’t use hair care products that suit with your hair type

Because of tempted by the low prices, sometimes you choose the hair care products that don’t fit with your hair type. Although you have to pay a little bit more expensive, it will be better if you choose the appropriate hair care products that suit with your hair type and needs.

Mistake 6: You don’t use hair serum and other vitamin supplements

Shampoo is not enough to maintain the health of your hair. Your hair still needs extra care such as by giving serum and vitamin supplements. Serum will provide more moisture to the hair and help to solve hair problems.

Mistake 7: You use hair straightener or hair dryer frequently

The heat from the hair dryer and hair straightener can lead to damage to the hair. The hair will be too dry and easily broken. You better let your hair dry naturally instead of using a hair dryer, and don’t use a hair straightener too often because the heat will make your hair branching.

Mistake 8: You are too often following the hairstyle trend

Indeed there’s nothing wrong with following the newest hair trend. However not all styles can be match with the shape of your face and also the type or your hair. For that, you better consult with your hair stylist first before choosing the right haircut.
